Il 28 luglio 2026, alle 11:31, la nuova Mercedes‑AMG CLA 45 4MATIC+ ha tagliato il traguardo del Nürburgring-Nordschleife e nella pit lane sono iniziati i festeggiamenti. Con un tempo sul giro ufficialmente certificato di 7:32.070 minuti, la berlina sportiva a quattro porte ha conquistato il titolo di vettura più veloce del suo segmento sulla leggendaria Nordschleife. In condizioni estive, con temperatura ambiente di 24 °C e asfalto a 30 °C, ha dimostrato le sue qualità prestazionali già al primo tentativo.
La CLA 45 è alimentata da innovativi motori a flusso assiale. Dopo la Mercedes‑AMG GT Coupé 4, è solo la seconda vettura di serie completamente elettrica a utilizzare questa tecnologia ad alte prestazioni. Tre motori elettrici estremamente potenti, due sull’asse posteriore e uno sull’asse anteriore, sviluppano una potenza complessiva fino a 500 kW (680 CV) e accelerano la quattro posti da 0 a 100 km/h in soli 2,7 secondi. La CLA 45 4MATIC+ raggiunge così livelli di performance finora impensabili nel suo segmento. L’erogazione della potenza è ulteriormente valorizzata dalla capacità dei motori raffreddati a liquido di fornire ripetutamente la piena potenza, creando le condizioni ideali per giri da record sull’impegnativa Nordschleife.
